25 Oct This is How Autumn Welcomes Me
The warmth of summer is slowly creeping to its end. The sky is dressed in a gloomy gray gown. Far away, I behold a V-shaped formation of migrating doves. They appear to be in a rush, with their outstretched wings swiftly soaring southward, vanishing from my sight in the blink of an eye. Gradually, the sun's rays break through the gray clouds, casting its bright beams on the pale houses that seem content from within. The chimneys' smoke captures this contentment, mingling with the delightful scent of delicious apple pies. I tread a long a long, seemingly endless road bordered by trees adorned with crimson leaves. From one branch, a squirrel descends with its mouth full of hazelnuts, just as the dry leaves fall to the ground. The moment it walked down, I heard a crunchy sound, and this is how autumn welcomes me.
